Bolacraft started as a way for a handful of friends and family to keep one Minecraft world alive without the drama of public servers. It's grown a little since then, but the rule hasn't changed: build cool stuff, don't be a jerk, and if that sounds like you, there's room.
No factions, no pressure to grind, no server-wide economy you're forced into. Just a shared world, whoever's online, and whatever you feel like building today.
Started for people who already know each other. Everyone else is welcome to earn their spot.

Permissions and anti-grief tools are coming as the community grows. For now, it runs mostly on trust.
Vanilla Minecraft servers process the entire world on a single thread, so one busy corner — a giant farm, a redstone machine, a crowd of players — can slow everyone else down too.
Folia splits the world into independent regions and runs each one on its own thread. Your farm in the desert and someone else's base in the tundra stop competing for the same slice of server time. Translation: the game stays smooth even when the world fills up.
It's still 100% vanilla gameplay — Folia changes how the server thinks under the hood, not how the game plays for you.
Full specs: a 14-core machine with 64GB of RAM, built so Folia has plenty of room to split the world across independent regions. For beta, we're deliberately running on half of that — 8 cores, 32GB — while we see how it holds up as more people join.
Handles the beta well, and we open the throttle. If something buckles, we'll know exactly where to look before scaling up.
We run Simple Voice Chat, so if you're standing near someone in the world, you can just talk — like actual human beings sharing a room. Wander off and the voices fade with distance, exactly like real life.
You'll need the Simple Voice Chat client mod installed, matched to the server's Minecraft version, before you join.
We're in open beta, so the doors are wider than usual — but we keep a whitelist to keep things safe. Know someone already in? Ask them to vouch for you. Don't know anyone yet? Hop into the Discord and introduce yourself.
